Software Engineer · Canada
Focused on elegant engineering.
I'm a software engineer at Altera (formerly part of Intel), working on the compiler flow behind FPGA design tools — caching, runtime, memory, and concurrency.
About
I studied Computer Science at McMaster University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2023. At Altera, most of my work sits where performance meets correctness: faster compiles through caching and parallelism, lower memory use on large designs, and sturdier concurrency underneath.
Outside work I like building things end to end — robots, scrapers, smart contracts — and reading classic literature. I also enjoy sports and music, and lately I've been typesetting and hand-binding books.
